Hi, I'm Gill, the hands and heart behind Hook and Hoop. I'm a maker at my core, equal parts obsessed with crochet and jewellery, always chasing the next idea that gets my brain itching to create.

Hook and Hoop started as a passion project and grew into something I never could have planned. I make handmade pieces that are full of personality, from wearable jewellery with a handcrafted feel to crocheted creations that take on a life of their own. Every piece is made with care, curiosity, and a good dose of creative stubbornness.

There's something about the energy of a market or a craft fair that sparks my creativity. I love meeting weird and wonderful people, sharing my work, and finding inspiration in the most unexpected places, a colour combination on someone's scarf, a texture in a vintage find, or a conversation with a stranger who sees something in my work that I hadn't noticed myself.
